If you are ordering this book, I'll assume you know what you're getting in terms of content, so suffice to say the Westminster Confession of Faith is a summary of Reformed, Calvinistic, biblical doctrine.This copy is quite handy, with thick, almost card stock pages, and an imitation leather cover. The imitation leather is the same material called TruTone or DuoTone by different publishers, and has a suede-like feel. I have a Bible covered in the same which has held up quite well for about ten years, so I'm not worried about longevity. The size of this book is on the small side, the same thickness, but just a little wider and a little shorter than the average smartphone, but with decent sized print.This would be perfect if it also included the Shorter catechism as well, but as it stands is a lovely little volume.Highly recommended.
This edition, in reality, is not quite accurately described. The description states: "This edition contains the Westminster Confession of Faith as approved by the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland 1647. It also includes Chapters 20, 23, 31, as altered, amended, and adopted as the Doctrinal Part of the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church in American, 1788. This description leads me to believe the volume contains BOTH the original text, AS WELL AS the adopted revisions. It does not. This volume only contains the revisions of those chapters with no indications of the changes made. However in the below portions the description is accurate, and I expected this format throughout: "Additional footnotes have been inserted at Chapters 22.111, 24.IV, and 25.VI, to indicate other places where the Confession has been altered in the editions adopted by the OPC and the PCA. "

Love it! I have carried the same styled version of the Heidelberg Catechism and now to have the Westminster Confession in a compact format with a rubberized cover makes it so helpful for traveling and teaching. Fits nicely in any small pocket
Beautiful little leather book! The Confessions include the written explanations and verses to back up each assertion.The printing is lovely and clear. I should note that this book is quite small. It is about 5 1/2 inches long and 3 2/3 wide.
This little book is great! Small enough to fit in a cargo pocket, I carry it all weekend long. Having the book available has made it easier to understand the why of reformed theology, because it is encapsulated so succinctly in the Westminster confession. I can answer many of my own questions just by looking at the references in the sections.
I appreciated the scripture references. These statements of faith are very informative, explaining some of the reasoning behind each part. It certainly is helpful and brings perspective to what needs to be considered in the Christian faith.
