About the Author
Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and cinematographer Jim Dutcher began producing documentary films in the 1960s. Gorgeous photographs of wolves in the wild. Large size -- 9" by 12" -- and magnificent color. There is a companion video (sold separately -- same title) of, among other footage, the Dutchers playing with their wolf friends outdoors in the snow that is so touching; they're not pets, but they are unafraid of the Dutchers, and are quite definitely friends of theirs.
Read this book before riding my horses into the backcountry of Yellowstone. They are such beautiful animals and hopefully more people can read about them and become enlightened about their true nature
If one is interested in wildlife, wolves in particular then this book will be enjoyable.It conveys the true nature of wolves which may help to save the species.

This book and CD are so inspirational and changed my view of wolves. The work Jim and Jami Dutcher did with a pack of wolf pups is beyond amazing. All should read.

Jim and Jamie Dutcher's book Living with Wolves is by far the best wolf book out there! The pictures alone are worth it, just breathtaking! Also their personal story of living with the Sawtooth pack is not only inspiring but educates so much on these truly magnificent creatures! A must have for any wolf lover!!
